Josh is a classically trained musician with interests and experiences as diverse as Romantic masterpieces, classic rock, Victorian operetta, contemporary musical theater, and the avant-garde.
As a composer and performer, he strives to explore the gray area between art music and popular, to create performances that please the ear and fascinate the mind. He approaches all of his work with ambitious and original ideas, and is experienced in doing whatever is necessary to make the final product sound great.
Josh began to study clarinet and composition in spring 1998, voice in fall 2003, and conducting in summer 2006. He performs whenever possible with instrumental, choral, and theatrical groups, and is always interested in pushing his skills to the limit and trying something new.
